VYS is a Global Superyacht supplier, born from an Italian family holding based in Venice, which has been operating for over 40 years, mainly supplying the luxury restaurant sector, and extending its service also to luxury hotels, private villas, aviation and the marine sector.
Headquarters of the holding are in Venice, where we have many facilities including warehouses, cellars and our own food processing laboratories working with the different products to prepare and package them as per our customer requirements.
We decided in 2017 to start VYS YACHT SERVICE to operate directly with superyachts.
Starting from the Adriatic region we rapidly expanded up to Croatia, Montenegro and Greece on the east Med and up to France/Monaco on the west Med. And now...it is time to go further!
Our CEO, Emanuele Minore tells us all about it.
CIAO EMANUELE, WHY SPAIN?
We are very happy to start a base in Barcelona to serve all of Spain. The peninsula has a strategic location and has a great diversity of ports: Barcelona, Valencia, Balearic Islands, etc. Many megayachts start and end the season here, on their way to the Caribbean, and this makes them one of the most in demand places in the Mediterranean.
It is also common for crews to spend off-season periods here, and VYS is perfect both for stocking up on luxury charters and for providing year-round service to the crew, for its value for money.
In addition, the Spanish market provides us with a wealth of products that we can offer to the other regions where we serve.
WHAT OTHER REGIONS ARE YOU SERVING RIGHT NOW AND WHAT IS THE RESPONSE TIME?
We can provide all over the mediterranean (Montecarlo, Nice, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy and now Spain) within 24h. Order today, we deliver tomorrow.
IN YOUR OPINION WHAT ARE THE TOP PRODUCTS OF SPAIN?
We are very pleased to have 5 star products directly from producers and distribute them throughout Europe, such as Jamón and Chorizo de Bellota, Jamón Joselito, Jamón Serrano, Jamón Bellota Pata negra Cinco Jotas, Rubia Gallega meat, Manchego cheese, Azul de Cueva cheese, Ibrones cheese, and Cantabric anchovies among many other.
In addition, thanks to recent strategic agreements we can very easily have products that are difficult to obtain that make a difference. for example since Brexit, British bacon was very difficult to export, but Vys has an agreement that allows us to dispose of it very easily.
WHAT ARE THE SOON-TO-COME OBJECTIVES OF VYS?
Our next objective is to consolidate Greece, Montenegro, and make grow our activity in Croatia.
Here we have strenghtened our presence on 3 key spots: Fiume / Zadar / Dubrovnik
We are also building a new platform in Genove to provide Liguria, Toscana and French Riviera.
And we will keep you posted on every move we make.
